The Investor 1 and 2 visas are residence visas – this entitles the applicant to benefits such as healthcare, education subsidies and other benefits normally available to New Zealand residents.

Upon meeting the requirements for the investment period the applicant can obtain permanent residence which has no further requirements or stay obligations (permanent residence in New Zealand is for life). The application can include dependent children up to and including age 24.

The Entrepreneur pathway allows applicants to obtain a work visa to buy or establish a business in New Zealand with a pathway to residence after successfully operating the business. While it requires a high level commitment to be self employed, the entry requirements are flexible with low English requirements and required investment funding from NZ$100,000.

After obtaining the residence visa and meeting further requirements the applicant can obtain permanent residence which has no further requirements or stay obligations (permanent residence in New Zealand is for life).
