Tasks include

• Conducts market research and analysis to determine the value and marketability of rural property, livestock, crops and agricultural products
• Prepares and presents marketing strategies and campaigns to attract potential buyers and sellers
• Inspects and assesses the condition and quality of rural property, livestock, crops and agricultural products
• Coordinates and facilitates auctions, private sales and negotiations between buyers and sellers
• May act as an insurance agent for rural clients
