Competitive Diagnostic
Skilled Migration to Australia
Australia’s skilled migration program is more competitive than ever. As of January 2026, there are more than 170,000 expressions of interest for the Subclass 189 Skilled Independent, more than 430,000 for the Subclass 190 State/Territory Nominated, and more than 470,000 for the Subclass 491 State/Territory Nominated Regional. That's a lot of competition for limited places (less than 10% of the Subclass 189 expressions of interest will receive an invite). Invitations are less frequent, selection is more complex, and state or territory nomination can make the difference.
A quick chat can’t capture everything. The right starting point is our Competitive Diagnostic.
What is our Competitive Diagnostic ?
A 45 minute consultation prepared around your information. We look at your occupation and circumstances, and use historical and current data to determine your pathways and chances of success. You receive a same-day written outcome with clear next steps and fees. We do this with a guarantee - if there's no viable pathway now, we'll refund our diagnostic fee. We've been doing immigration to Australia since 2003 so if anyone knows how to get you to Australia, it's us!
Why is this important ?
- Fewer invitation rounds & tighter priorities mean timing and positioning matter.
- State/territory nomination is decisive and criteria vary and change quickly.
- Points alone aren’t enough! English results, documents, and the order you do things can change your outcome.
- Avoid costly false starts, move forward only when the plan is right.

1. Complete the assessment form
Start strong by telling us your story. Complete the assessment form on our website, have your up-to-date CV or resume ready, and if you’re partnered, please include your partner’s details and CV as well. In Australia’s skilled system, your partner can increase or decrease your competitiveness depending on their age, English level, qualifications, and occupation, so this information is critical. The form takes just a few minutes and ensures we’re not guessing, we’re preparing a session tailored to you.

2. We'll review your information
Behind the scenes, we map your profile against current invitation patterns, state/territory settings, and practical requirements. If your case is suitable, you’ll receive a private link to book and pay for your Competitive Diagnostic. Your 45 minute session is built from your data, so instead of general advice, you get focused guidance and a realistic pathway. If there’s no viable path right now, we’ll let you know up front and you won’t be asked to book.

3. Talk with Us
In your Diagnostic, an experienced advisor walks you through what’s possible now and what to do next. That same day, you’ll receive a clear written outcome: Green (go now), Amber (go after meeting additional requirements), or Red (not viable now). We also have the practical plans to match: a fully managed service, a Fast-Track of key steps while you prepare, or focused DIY support with check-ins. You leave with confidence, timelines, and the next action already defined.
